Unidirectional Fabric Production Line-Prepreg Machine

The Kuntai prepreg machine uses stable mechanical operation rolls and profiled devices to evenly spread the wire, applying resin glue to soak and carry the film or release paper for adhesion and solidification, and then drying and rolling it at the rear end.

 

This product offers advantages such as low density, abrasion resistance, impact resistance, cutting resistance, and toughness. It is widely used in special protective materials like soft bulletproof jackets, lightweight bulletproof helmets, lightweight bulletproof armor plates, stab and cut-resistant clothing linings, and special public anti-riot facilities.

Main Working Process

Starting with the precise unwinding of tubular ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fibers, the machine meticulously guides each step:

  • Yarn Unwinding & Bundling: Ensures neatly arranged and bundled fibers for uniformity.

  • Warping & Spreading: Achieves parallel alignment and optimal tension for flatness.

  • Dipping/Coating: Applies resin with precision for consistent coverage.

  • Film Covering: Adds a PE bearing film for enhanced strength and protection.

  • Drying & Curing: Heat rollers evaporate solvents and solidify the resin matrix.

  • Guiding & Winding: Completes the process with tidy winding, ready for further processing.

  • This comprehensive approach ensures high-quality output and exceptional performance in advanced textile applications.

The ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene fiber is placed on the reel, rolled back to the bunching device and arranged in parallel. The parallel PE fibers after being grouped pass through the finishing device to form parallel and tight filament bundles. After the ribbon is unfolded, tension is applied to ensure the flatness of the ribbon.

 

After the fiber is impregnated with the bonding device, the uniform filament bundles after the PE carrier film passes through the bonding device are reassembled, and the resin solvent is evaporated by the hot roller to solidify to form a unidirectional PEUD cloth.
